A healthy James van Riemsdyk was at the morning skate and is back in the lineup tonight against New Jersey. He admitted to me it would have been a close call had the club been leaving on its West Coast trip over the weekend, given how flu-ridden he was. My guess is, he would not have gone on the team charter which leaves tonight after the Devils’ game. Okay, the bigger news: Claude Giroux
