Flyers acquire Dimitrakos from Sharks

Almost missed this one.
The Flyers have acquired 5’10”, 205-pound right wing Niko Dimitrakos from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for a third round draft choice in 2006. Dimitrakos has four goals and 16 points in 45 games this season, his second full season in the NHL. He signed a two year deal with the Sharks last August that pays him $625,000 this season.

From TSN
Assets – Has excellent hockey sense and deft passing skills. Is capable of playing the point on the power play, and doesn’t need a ton of ice time to produce points.
Flaws – Lacks size and strength. Must continue to work on his play without the puck. Still takes too many shifts off, which doesn’t place him in coaches’ good books.
Career potential – Third line winger.
Injuries:
07-Jan-06: Missed 2 games (flu).
30-Dec-05: Flu, day-to-day.
