Ken Hitchcock signed for 3 more years

The Flyers have agreed to a new three-year contract with Head Coach Ken Hitchcock, beginning this season. The following is a statement by club General Manager Bob Clarke. A full press release will be posted later today.

“We agreed to a new contract for three years with Ken Hitchcock. I think it’s the final piece of stability we were hoping to have at the start of training camp. Actually, it was my own fault, because it took me longer to sign a couple players. Even though it’s early in training camp, we wish it has been done earlier, but we knew going into training camp that we were going to get it done some time in training camp.”

Good deal.
I am glad he is signed for 3 more years.
