Just returned from speaking with Paul Holmgren and John Stevens and there have been no moves to clear salary space for Danny Briere. Stevens said Scottie Upshall and Joffrey Lupul stayed home with the flu and that Mike Richards took off for “maintenance.” It appears as though the Flyers will hold Briere out of the lineup until after the All-Star break so that they do not have to make roster moves until next week.
