ATLANTA – Led by Jeff Carter, the Philadelphia Flyers did what they always seem to do: beat the Atlanta Thrashers. Carter scored two goals and the Flyers won their 14th straight over Atlanta, holding on for a 3-2 victory that extended a streak dating to November 2005. Philadelphia swept the season series again, outscoring the Thrashers 19-8 in four games. But the final meeting of the regular season went down to the wire as the home team rallied from a 3-0 deficit in the final period.
