The NHL trade deadline is still a couple weeks away, but rumors involving possible Flyers deals continue to heat up. Some – like the one involving Florida defenseman Jay Bouwmeester – are simply leftovers put back on the stove. Others are persistent, such as the one involving Anaheim defenseman Chris Pronger. Given the Flyers’ salary cap situation, such proposed trades would require a considerable amount of outbound talent.
