PHILADELPHIA – By all rights, Darroll Powe would have been excused for celebrating the placement of veteran center Glen Metropolit on waivers a couple weeks ago. After all, the two were basically in competition for the Flyers’ fourth-line center job. But Powe didn’t see it that way, and maybe that’s why the rookie is such a popular figure in the locker room.
