The Flyers moved one step closer to securing fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings  moments ago when the Devils beat the Hurricanes 3-2 in Newark. That means if the Flyers win and the Penguins lose in regulation or overtime, the Flyers clinch the fourth seed and home ice.
