In a little under four hours the Flyers will play their 81st game of the season against the Islanders on Long Island. Like the Flyers several seasons ago, the game for the Islanders is about pride and finishing up a very disappointing season. For the Flyers, the game is about securing home ice advantage for the first round of the playoffs. A win will help with that effort along with sweeping the season series against the Islanders.
The Flyers are down to either playing the Penguins, Hurricanes or Devils in the first round.
Last I heard Ryan Parent will probably be a go for the game today. Biron in net today. Marty has 11 straight wins against the Islanders.
