The Philadelphia Flyers announced that they have signed 6’2’’, 200-pound defenseman Jamie Fritsch to an amateur tryout under emergency conditions, according to club general manager Paul Holmgren. Fritsch will replace defenseman Ryan Parent , who is listed as day-to-day with a lower body injury.
