So apparently, the rules don’t apply evenly to everyone. It is interesting that the NHL has already ruled that the instigator penalty and one game suspension doesn’t apply to him. Where as if this was any of the Flyers it would have been automatic. The display by the NHL towards its star players isn’t shocking.
