Paul Holmgren and Ian Laperriere Press Conference 7.14.09 Paul Holmgren: Thanks everybody for coming out today on short notice. The reason we are here is to welcome Ian Laperriere, our newest Flyer, a free agent acquisition from July 1. Ian is a player I have coveted for a long time and I think the best way I can sum up Ian and what he is going to bring to our team is that he comes to play. We are excited to have him and the fans of Philadelphia are going love his style of play.
