There are reports circulating that the Flyers may offer former Columbus Blue Jacket, Jiri Novotny , a contract to play as possibly their third/fourth line center. At 6’4″ and 209lbs, he’s an imposing figure and can throw his weight around. He’s limited offensively with only 20 goals and 31 assists in his 5 professional years in the NHL. He’s also picked up 66 PIMs in that time period as well.
