If I’m Randy Jones, and I can finally admit to you that I am, there’s only one thing I’m really concerned about right now – having to take a 5 hour road trip with Kjell Samuelson. I know I’m not a great player and am possibly a little overpaid, but I also know that when I signed my $6M contract I was a 26 year old who had just put up 31 points in the NHL after notching 22 the season before. I looked like a safe investment and still truly believe that I am. My injury last season did more to affect my reputation than my actual play and it’s still taking some time to recover from it – on both accounts
