Flyers general manger Paul Holmgren told reporters on Sunday that bacdkup goaltender Brian Boucher will sit out 7-10 days with a “lower body injury” that was “tweaked” in Saturday night’s 1-0 preseason loss to the Devils. As a result, Swedish goalie Johan Backlund was on his way from Glens Falls, N.Y. to South Jersey on Sunday and will be on the ice for practice on Monday.
