Hartnell’s off the hook!

If the glove doesn’t fit, you must acquit! Scott Hartnell was found NOT GUILTY of biting the gloved finger of Penguins defenseman Kris Letang on Friday, following a 15-minute hearing with NHL disciplinarian Colin Campbell. Hartnell gave this account of the incident after Friday’s practice. “(Letang) had me in a headlock, his free hand was in there, and I can’t tell you what happened but I definitely didn’t bite him. I know he was complaining like he did, but his bare hand was scratching my face and hands were everywhere.” Hartnell defended his reputation as a hard-nosed player who tries to stay within the rules of the game.
