SHARKS 4, FLYERS 1: One night after dominating the Panthers, the Flyers looked lost against the Sharks, especially between the goal posts, where Brian Boucher looked bad on all four goals. Boucher was playing in his first game of the season for the Flyers, who drafted him in the first round in 1995. Boucher failed to cover the puck under his pad on the first goal, had the second go off the heel of his stick on a centering pass and watched the third sail past him on a screen. “They were awful goals to give up,” Boucher aid. “They were back breakers and you can’t expect to win games when the goalie gives up four goals like that.
