John Stevens – October 14 “I think the guys have taken the right attitude down here.  When they are at the rink they work extremely hard.  Yesterday after practice we got on the water and had a little sailing regatta and spent tome time together. After the race we all met up at the end of the day and went for a swim before we headed back in.  Today we are going to do a little fishing.  This is a real good opportunity to get some work in but at the same time establish some relationships.  Its just not that easy whenm you are busy and you are playing all the time. Guys are at home and we don’t have a lot of road trips.  We had this big break so it is important to put them in a setting where they can have some fun together, get to know each other very well and get some work done at the same time.”. Update on Betts and JVR: “They are progressing along.  James looks better and better. It looks like his conditioning is coming back.  It is tough being off the ice for a couple of days.  He’s had a couple good days of practice
