With Ryan Parent out for at least the next three games it looks like the Flyers are going to be dressing both Ole-Kristian Tollefsen and Danny Syvret on the blue line. This would be a great time and reason to break up the defensive pairing of Braydon Coburn and Kimmo Timonen for at least a few games, who are a combined minus 8 so far this season. Not to upset Matt Carle’s Norris trophy run, but I think this change in personnel is going to require a full reshuffling of the deck. I’m thinking:   Pronger – Syvret Timonen – Carle Coburn – Tollefsen   I’ve always been a fan of throwing a more defensively minded defenseman with a partner who is, well… not.  Pronger and Timonen are all-star caliber defensmen so I think putting the two weakest defenders with them would be a smart move.
