This is not the kind of situation you want to find yourself in. Three minutes left in a game that’s out of hand and the toughest guy in hockey, possibly, takes a blatant cheap shot at one of your guys. If you yourself are an enforcer it’s “fine, I’d rather not, but let’s go.” If you yourself are a 5’9 165 lbs kid from Alabama who has three career fights (all losses) who also happens to be the captain it’s more like “Jesus Christ I can’t believe I’m about to do this I hope someone else jumps in before my face looks like a giant chewed bag of Big League Chew.”  And that’s exactly what happened in the Phantoms 5-0 over the Syracuse Crunch last night in Glens Falls.
