It wasn’t too long ago that many of us were wondering if JVR was going to make the team this year. After the club drafted him 2nd overall in 2007, the Flyers faithful have had to watch #1-pick Patrick Kane tear it up in Chicago and wonder how long we’d have to wait to see if the New Jersey native would become the power forward we all hope and dreamed for. Doubters are getting their answer this year. The player nicknamed Rabbit (not sure the origin or the meaning behind this one, and not sure I want to know) has surprised many with quick adaptation to the pro game. Very few expected him to be 4th in scoring on the team to start the season.
