It’s almost time for my year-end review, which I’m pretty sure is going to be a drawing of a duck taking a shit, but I’ve got ratings, and I’m sure many of you youngin’s have grades, on the mind. So in order to identify who will be assuredly moving after December 27th I’m taking it upon myself to give each player a grade for their play last night. The original range didn’t leave too much room for differentiation, as everyone failed, so I’m going to have to throw the old curve in there. Simon Gagne: B Mike Richards: C- Daniel Carcillo: B- Jeff Carter: F Scott Hartnell: D+ Arron Asham: C Ian Laperriere: C+ Claude Giroux: B- Danny Briere: D+ Blair Betts: B- Riley Cote: F James Von Rammestein: D Chris Pronger: D- Braydon Coburn: B Kimmo Timonen: B – Oskars Bartulis: C Ryan Parent: C+ Matt Carle: F I’m not even giving the goalies grades because it’s not really fair to them. Bouch played ok before he got hurt and Leighton did as well as anyone could hope. Just hearing the Florida announcers pity for the Flyers was so disgusting. Peter Laviolette gets a big F for even dressing Riley Cote.
