The Calgary Flames will try to tie the Colorado Avalanche for the Northwest Division lead tonight as they host the Pacific leading Los Angeles Kings. The Kings have been the biggest surprise in the NHL so far this season are tied for the second most points in the league to prove it. Last 10: Kings- 8-1-1 Flames- 5-4-1 No team in the NHL has been hotter than the Kings as they have lost in regulation only once since they fell to Vancouver, 4-1, on Nov. 26. However, Los Angeles has been winless at Calgary since Dec. 21, 2005. The Flames, meanwhile, are trying to avoid their first four-game losing streak of the season Calgary has been playing fine hockey for most of the season, but it has definitely cooled down over the last few contests
