Flyers Gameday: The Hab(itual loser)s

Tonight the Flyers travel up to the Bell Centre to take on the leagues other underacheiving dyanamo, the Montreal Canadiens. Aside from Anaheim, are there two teams playing under their management and fan’s expectations more than the Flyers and Habs? But the beauty of hockey is that there is always another game to be played. Another 60 minutes to prove to yourself, your teammates, your new coach, your fans and the hot dog vendor in section 221 who won’t stop sexting you…that a season can turn around at any time. Tonight, the Flyers are hoping for just that. (The turning-around part, not the sexting part…try to keep up) The Habs made some questionable moves in the offseason, bringing in Scott Gomez, Mike Cammalleri and Brian Gionta. With the ex-Devil Gionta sidelined, expect ex-Flyer Glen Metropolit to fill his place, and will be a pest all night. Good news about Gomez and Cammalleri is that they are so small, they hula hoop with a Fruit Loop.
