There is a point that a hockey team can reach where they’ve become so used to losing… so used to the puck not bouncing their way or getting the call from the ref or watching every little mistake end up in the back of their own net… that they lose their expectation to win. The expect to lose. It seems like that’s exactly where this current Flyers team is. Game after game, they come out flat. Night after night, they get behind early. Battle after battle, they lose the fight along the boards
