There have been games over the years in which we’ve anticipated some sort of serious retribution from an opposing team. Boston after the Jones-Bergeron incident, Ottawa after the Downie-McAmmond hit, Calgary for Cote-Roy Round 2. But none of the rematches ever seemed to live up to the hype. And I’m not sure why.
