With the Olympics now only a month away I’m beginning to actually realize that they’re about to actually happen. I’ve now been exposed to enough Morgan Freeman Visa commercials and Olympic Roster talk that I’m kind of looking forward to them. It’ll be fun to have a daily distraction from the grind every day for 2 weeks. We’ll always be able to count on something to gather around or discuss during the absolute dead of winter, plus we’ll all temporarily be unified to a certain extent. 4 years ago I was in this very same building during most of the Olympics. Well in this building during the week, at my apartment on the weekends, and managed to squeeze in a 5 day trip to Amsterdam – those Dutch love their speed skating.
