Recently, Laviolette introduced the shooter tutor at practice and sent some home for the players as homework. With the increased demand for scoring more goals the homework is looking like it is paying off. We have seen a dramatic increase in goal production that has lead to skids of cases of Tastykakes being sent off after goals. In fact I got a case of them on Christmas Day. The last two games are a statement about the Flyers and to the opposition. Most of us fans have been waiting for the other shoe to drop and have us tailspin back into the doldrums of early December. However, the recent stretch of games has allowed the team to gain confidence in their abilities. While we still have injuries we are getting healthy and it is important to see that we are able to dominate in games again
