Two Olympians Go Toe toToe

Last night in Chicago newly named Team USA forward David Backes and Canadian winger Jonathan Toews dropped the gloves and settled things the old fashioned way in a game that eventually turned out to be a blow out for the Hawks. Neither player is a regular in the fighting section of the restaurant so I have to wonder (only because I desperately wish it was) if this was the first signs of animosity between the US and Canadian Olympic teams. Probably wasn’t, but would cool if it was. The U-20 men take on Sweden tonight at 9PM after a shaky win over Finland last night where they were outshot almost 2-to-1. The winner of tonight’s game faces either Canada or Sbisaless Switzerland for the Gold on Tuesday night. Funny story about that Canada – Switzerland game today is that Nazem Kadri’s going to get a second chance to decapitate Nino Niederreiter , which I suppose he’s happy about
