Kimmo's Last Hurrah

In an hour Kimmo Timonen begins play in his 4th Olympics. That is some sexy stuff right there. Here’s a quick break down of his and Finland’s performance in the previous 3: 1998 – The first Olympics (Nagano) with NHL players Kimmo was only 22 and played in all 6 of Finland’s games on his way to a Bronze medal in a tournament in which neither Canada nor the US medaled after going in as heavy favorites. He earned an assist in his first games. 2002 – In Utah the Fins had a rough draw in the first elimination round game as they went head-to-head with the eventual Gold Medal champs, Canada, and lost 2-1.
