So the Flyers salvaged their homestand by squeaking out a win against the Isles. Man, wouldn’t it be great if we just had to play them 82 times to win the Cup? Yeah, boring as heck but we’d be the champs. Still, 4-2 isn’t where we hoped it end, but better than 2-4 so, well, [insert some witty joke here]. Now to Calgary where we get to face, well, whoever Sutter hasn’t traded away. Another team that’s a carbon-copy of the Flyers… high expectations, relative disappointment.
