Well last night was….yeah..let’s just forget about last night. Tonight the Flyers see-saw of a season continues as they get a quick rematch against those pesky Atlanta Thrashers. The Thrash, who would be a tough matchup for any team come playoff time, are getting hot at the right moment. It’s up to the Flyers to stop playing down to these teams, and start dominating hockey games. If we continute to see this type of play out of a team that was supposed to contend for the East crown, then how likely is it that they can win 4 out of 7 in a playoff series? Alas, this is nothing new, for since 2006, the Flyers have struggled to consistently play to a high level. Maybe as fans we are demanding too much….but I don’t think thats it. Watching last nights game, as soo many others have been this year, you don’t see that sense of urgency.
