Despite a busy day of player movement, Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren decided the price to add was far greater than the cost to subtract and let the NHL trade deadline pass without making a move. Holmgren was believed to be interested in Islanders goalie Dwayne Roloson, Columbus forward Raffi Torres and Nashville defenseman Dan Hamhuis, but without picks in the first two rounds of the 2010 draft, he did not have the assets to pull off a trade.
