His story has been well documented from his gansta childhood to his currently incarcerated brother, but despite a rough youth and a seemingly endless carousel of hockey towns and even countries, Metro is on the verge of challenging his career high in points this year. While he’s already surpassed his career high in goals by netting 3 more than during his 2006-07 campaign with Atlanta, he’s still 5 short of the 33 points he notched with Boston in 2007-08. With 12 games to go it’s by no means in the bag, but a big game could have him flirting with the new achievement.
