The Flyers rallied back from a two-goal deficit with consecutive goals from Jeff Carter, Claude Giroux and Simon Gagne to register a hard-fought win, their 15th straight against the Isles. “You start wondering if it’s going to be one of those nights,†Flyers coach Peter Laviolette said. “It’s tough to come from behind, but we stuck with it.†The win kept the Flyers two points ahead of the seventh-place Montreal Canadiens, four points ahead of the eighth-place Bruins and seven points ahead of the ninth-place New York Rangers.
