Inside the Flyers’ 3-2 win over Toronto

Aside from goaltender Ray Emery, who is scheduled to undergo career-threatening bone graft surgery later this month, the Flyers find themselves completely healthy for the first time in a long time. Which means coach Peter Laviolette has some difficult roster decisions to make. With winger Darroll Powe recovered from a bruised left foot and defenseman Oskars Bartulis cleared to play after an Olympic groin strain, Laviolette penciled Powe back into the lineup for Ville Leino, but kept Bartulis out in favor of Ryan Parent Sunday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. “I think it’s important to get Ryan in there and get him back into shape,” Laviolette said of his pre-game decision. “I thought he’s gotten better every game.” Parent, who missed 24 games from Dec. 26 through March 2 because of back surgery, was paired with Braydon Coburn on the Flyers’ third defense pairing. Powe, who sat out losses to Florida and Buffalo last week, replaced Leino on a fourth line with Blair Betts and Ian Laperriere. Leino played well in his first two games as a Flyer with a goal and a plus-2 rating.
