Boucher shaky in 6-4 loss to Islanders

Just when you thought the Flyers’ goaltending situation couldn’t get worse, it did. Forced to go with a shaky Brian Boucher down the stretch, the Flyers enter Friday night’s crucial game against the Montreal Canadiens on the heels of a 6-4 beating on Long Island in which Boucher was pulled after allowing five goals on 24 shots. So, after witnessing one of Boucher’s worst performances of the season, Flyers coach Peter Laviolette was asked who would be his starting goaltender against the Canadiens. “I’m not sure at this point,” Laviolette said after Thursday night’s loss to the Islanders. “I’m not saying no (to Boucher), I just haven’t gotten that far yet.” Said Boucher, “I expect to be in there (against Montreal). I haven’t even thought about anything else.” How bad has it gotten in goal for the Flyers
