The following is a statement from Flyers General Manager Paul Holmgren regarding a medical update on Jeff Carter: “Jeff had his M.R.I. this morning and he is healing up nicely. He completed his off-ice rehab and conditioning today and will practice with the team tomorrow.” Carter had his M.R.I. taken today at Jefferson Center City Imaging in Philadelphia. The studies were reviewed by Dr. Steven Raikin, who performed the surgery on Carter, and by Flyers team physician, Dr. Peter DeLuca.
