Jeff Carter sat out today’s practice but is expected to play in Sunday’s win-or-go-home season finale against the Rangers. “It’s nothing that will hold him out of the game tomorrow, I don’t believe,” Flyers GM Paul Holmgren said. “In order to get his boot on it’s probably fairly aggravating to do it on a day we don’t really need to. We need him in the game tomorrow and I would expect him to play.” Peter Laviolette said he does not foresee any lineup changes for tomorrow but is considering changing his lines, which means Carter could start out on a line with Mike Richards.
