April 18, 2011 I have been a hockey fan fo 40 years!!! I cannot believe that Coach Laviolette is replacing Bobrowsky with Leighton who has not played in the NHL this year!!! WOW – he had a couple shut outs with a farm team – are you kidding me. what a way to break a young goalies confidence. I guess he has to deflect from the real issues like a defense that can’t clear the porch in front of the goalie and a non-existent powerplay ( 1 for 15 in 2 games) and inept all year long. I see why he was fired after winning a stanly cup!!! Folks say Bobrowsky goes down too fast but if I recall there was a rookie goalie last year that also went down fast, Niemi and he won a Stanley Cup but he had a team defense in front of him. They need to get rid of this coach who never takes responsibility for his ineptness.
