Wow. So the Caps are that guy from work who tells you that he walked onto the UNC basketball team after captaining his high school team but then blew out his knee in the first scrimmage so was never ‘officially’ on the roster. And then when you try to get him to come out to pick up ball for three years, the hockey equivalent of a season, and he finally does, you’re treated to a scene from The Cable Guy. Except with less back board shattering dunks and more Jack Black plays best, chubby friend. But I read this post over at On Frozen Blog and can’t help but think the Capitals fans should be grateful for the good times, no? An entire season in first place
