Brian Boucher made the kid behind me cry. Real little kid tears. Which was fine with me. After Olli Jokinen tried to one-up Rob Lowe aka Dean Youngblood in his approach to the puck only to have his not so bad move turned aside by our beleaguered goalie, the little Rangers fan who had been shouting “Die! Die! Die!” every time the Flyers had the puck, began to weep as he realized that his favorite team was eliminated from play. And although we never directly addressed the kid or his parents/people that found him on the street and brought him to a bar for the afternoon, we crowed, hollered, and high-fived in front of everyone that was suddenly rooting against the team from Philadelphia. Since the Flyers were 12-5-1 in November they have gone 29-30-5. Thank God for strong starts.
