Last time the Leafs and Flyers squared off there was ugly incident in which Nearly Headless Dan almost became Headless Dan when goon extraordinaire Colton Orr attempted to goad our mustachioed villain into a fight. Sadly, Colton Orr is dead. Or Colton Orr as we knew him. Orr has, in the Maple Leafs last 4 games, increased his NHL Career goal total by 33%. Now that’s an impressive stat. He’s scored goals against the Bruins and Penguins that have helped the Leafs earn two points that have further distanced his club from that 50% chance of a first round pick. Hell, a couple more goals from Orr and the Leafs could finish as high as 26th in the league, reducing the chance even more so that the pick they sent to Boston for Phil Kessel will be one of the big three picks this coming draft.
