Ian Laperriere learned on Tuesday the price he’ll pay for blocking a shot with his face in Game 5 of the Flyers’ series-clinching win over the Devils last week. According to Flyers GM Paul Holmgren Laperriere will miss the remainder of the playoffs with a concussion after a CT Scan showed a spot in the area where the puck made contact above his right eye. Laperriere has been diagnosed with a concussion and has been advised rest for a minimum of four weeks. Holmgren said he was not optimistic Laperriere could return at any point during the playoffs.
