I hate this post-win positive article, post-loss negative article cycle as much as you do, but regardless if Lappy had buried Mike Richards’ pass in the 3rd and the Flyers had won 5-3 instead of the other way around, I was going to write this post.   Being aloof around the net is bad enough. Pushing the puck into the crease and giving Patrick Elias a chance from 1 foot out that leaves him staring at the rafters in amazement after Boucher bails you out is worse. But what’s the absolute worst is making the same stupid, and I cannot emphasize the word ‘stupid’ enough, decision twice.   On Zach Parise’s short-handed goal Matt Carle made a bad play. He made a mistake, which is fine. That happens. But what he did after led directly to a 1-0 deficit 3 minutes into the game.
