Last night saw Boucher make the save of the season and because of this almost guaranteed a playoff spot. With the Flyers barely holding onto a one goal lead a shot that is crawling toward the line and the net gets swatted out of the net and keeps the game in hand. That save allowed the Flyers to look at the playoffs with a sense of reality. They currently are sitting in 7th spot with a four point cushion over the Rangers. Tonight could clinch a spot for the men in Orange and Black. The Leafs and Rangers play and if the Rangers can’t earn a point the Flyers will clinch a playoff spot. The Flyers hold the first tie breaker in wins and would finish ahead of the Rangers even if the Flyers were swept over the weekend.
