Today kicks off the second round for your Philadelphia Flyers. They play visitor to their Winter Classic opponent, the Boston Bruins. The old money in the NHL is set to do battle once more. Two solid teams with history get to go at each other in what will be the second round’s best series. The victory over New Jersey, one that many people outside of Philly didn’t expect, puts us in a peculiar situation. All of the sudden, it’s Stanley Cup or Bust. In the first round, it was more about showing up and giving the Devils a rough go at it. Getting past that first round probably was the hardest part, for now the team knows they can win in the playoffs, as do the coaches, Homer, and the fans.
