Inside Flyers’ Game 4 OT Win

The Flyers still have a long way to go before anyone calls them the 2004 Boston Red Sox, but after a heart-thumping 5-4 overtime victory against the Boston Bruins Friday night they are starting to believe anything is possible. “We’re back in this thing,” Flyers goaltender Brian Boucher said after stopping 33 of 37 shots. “We feel good about ourselves and now the pressure is on them. They’re going home and we still have nothing to lose here. We’re going to give our best on the road, give a good road effort, and hope to bring it back here.” The Flyers are hoping to have right wing Dan Carcillo back when the series resumes in Boston on Monday after a two-day weekend break. Carcillo watched the third period and overtime from the bench. With the win, the Flyers avoided their first playoff sweep since the 1997 Stanley Cup Finals. But they’ll be facing the only NHL team that has not lost at home in the playoffs
