Riley Cote's Flyers Playoff Blog – Day 1

Photo:

Flyers forward Riley Cote joined the team in 2007 after being called up from the Phantoms, and quickly established himself as one of the team’s hardest working players both on and off the ice. Generally regarded as one of the best Press Box Analysts in the league, Cote has agreed to give us his thoughts on the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs, as the Flyers try and capture the NHL’s ultimate prize. Check back every once in a while for an insider’s (kind of) look at the team, as the playoffs continue.   The fact that Scott Hartnell, James van Riemsdyk, or Andreas Nodl is playing instead of me is pure poppycock. No one in all of hockey, including little kids in China, is worse than Scott Hartnell on faceoffs.   Also, I just found out what Meat Loaf was refering to by ‘that’ and I’ve done it a ton of times. It’s not bad at all.
