The following is a transcript from newly acquired Flyers defensemen Matt Walker on July 19, 2010 Q: Do you sense that you’re coming to a town where people live and die by this team. Does you’re style of play fit the mold of what is expected from a ‘Flyers player’? “Well yeah, I mean. It’s a team I’ve always thought of… last year when I was traded, you’re kind of thinking, where do you fit? Philadelphia hockey… first of all it’s exciting to be back in a hockey town for sure, and to play for a team that’s always had a certain reputation and a certain style of play, it’s a style that I’ve always thought I could contribute to and be a good fit. When I talked to my family, my brother could barely talk he’s been so excited, my dad and everybody is kind of through the roof right now.
